COME ON IN!
The pace will be relentless. The game will be mentally draining and physically challenging. This will be an epic battle to discover who among us is worthy of the title of SOLE SURVIVOR.
THIS CHALLENGE IS ON
This season, we’re kicking things up a notch. Gates open at 9:00 am on Saturday, August 9th, with game play officially beginning at 9:30 am. You will use that initial time to get settled in at the Common Pool Area.
At 9:30 am, we will gather and go over the rules and meet the Support Staff. After the completion of that opening gathering, players will have the opportunity to move in to camp, and the game will begin.
IN THIS GAME, FIRE REPRESNETS YOUR LIFE. WHEN YOUR FIRE’S GONE, SO ARE YOU.
In team challenges, the losing tribe will go to tribal council immediately after the challenge ends and vote off a member of their tribe. After the merge, the whole tribe will go to tribal council immediately after a challenge and vote off a member. We will have a single winner at the end of the game.
DROP YOUR BUFFS
The first half of gameplay is tribe vs tribe. At a certain point in the game, you’ll drop your buffs, the tribes will merge, we’ll enjoy a merge feast, and the game will resume with the individual challenges.
I’LL GO TALLY THE VOTES.
After each tribal council, the player who is voted off gets to stick around, enjoy the day, and observe the gameplay, because all players voted off of Survivor become jury members and will vote for the winner of Survivor Season 4.
DOES NOT COUNT.
Because the stakes are high and the game of Survivor is complicated, Season 4 has a team of Support Staff. Disrespect of Support Staff will not be tolerated, and will result in IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE GAME. This will be STRICTLY ENFORCED this year, as the Support Staff are all teenagers (as well as human beings worthy of dignity and respect).
IT TAKES A TRIBE
FOR ANYONE NOT ACTIVELY PLAYING: Part of the thrill of Survivor is the immersion in the game for the players. The suspense, the secrets, the deceit; it ALL adds to the fun of the game! We want you to be able to see as much as possible, without interfering. NO ONE will be allowed in the voting area other than the voting tribe member and the specific volunteer assigned to that position. We will have a viewing area for Tribal Councils but ask that you NOT SPEAK while you are viewing. We will have specific areas for you to watch challenges as well and ask that you not enter into the gameplay areas. Thank you!!
